Please join DigitalC for our inaugural Citizen Tech Series event! Citizen Tech is a reoccurring community conversation that will be held the third Thursday of every month at the Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern. These interactive events will focus on the many ways that technology impacts our everyday lives and will feature speakers, panelists and demonstrations around a new tech topic each month.
The theme for our first event is Back to School in the Digital Age. Technology is having an enormous impact on how and what students learn, as well as their ability to succeed in the classroom. We’ll hear from a panel of experts including Feowyn MacKinnon, Head of School at Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Jeremy Shorr, Director of Technology Innovation and Early Childhood Learning, TIES, and Alexis Crosby, Regional Director Tech Corps Northeast Ohio. The panel will be moderated by Rebecca Ranallo
Information & Technology Literacy Manager at Cuyahoga County Public Library. Please join us and learn how their organizations leverage technology to improve learning outcomes and how parents can work with these organizations and others to prepare their children for the increasingly tech-centric jobs of the 21st century.
Details for the event are below and registration is not required! Make sure to arrive early to enjoy a hot dog and your favorite beverage before the event!
