Join DigitalC and April Urban at the MidTown Tech Hive for 90 minute Lunch & Learn on North East Ohio (NEO) CANDO Property Data Portal.
This 90 minute, hands-on session focuses on the NEO CANDO suite of applications, NEO CANDO 2010+ and the NEO CANDO Property Data Portal. NEO CANDO 2010+ holds a range of data for the 17-county northeast Ohio region. In Cuyahoga County, NEO CANDO provides access to aggregated data for many important health and human services SOMETHING, like public assistance, juvenile delinquency, and property statistics around sales and foreclosure filings. The tool also provides a basic mapping feature and download features. The NEO CANDO Property Data portal provides parcel-level data on characteristics, tax information, sales, foreclosures, and sheriff's sales through a custom query interface. Attendees will become familiar with the navigation and use of the data systems, as well as the indicators available in both systems, learning how to understand and interpret the data.
The session includes lunch. Attendees will leave being able to navigate and use NEO CANDO data systems, as well as understand how to interpret local, civic data. Email Gretchen Mason with any further questions. Register here.
