Manager of Data-Driven Water
Max Herzog is Manager of Data-Driven Water, a position shared between DigitalC and its water innovation partner Cleveland Water Alliance. Max is dedicated to activating diverse stakeholders in the development of tools and strategies that drive community development and resilience at the regional level. In his current role, he leads DigitalC and Cleveland Water Alliance’s engagement of a bi-national ecosystem of innovators in the development and implementation of intelligent water systems that build toward the world’s first Smart Great Lake.
With DigitalC and CWA, Max has lead a number of regional innovation initiatives that catalyzed data-driven solutions to the greatest challenges facing Lake Erie and its watersheds. Prior to this role, he was engaged with Foresight Design Initiative on a number of sustainable development consulting projects and played a key role in the creation of the organization’s education arm, Foresight Prep. Max has also worked with Lorain County Urban League to identify opportunities to maximize the effectiveness of organizations serving at-risk youth in Lorain County, OH.
